This is a project that has been decades in the making.
I’ve wanted to be a father ever since I was old enough to realize what an amazing dad I had. Unfortunately, it initially didn’t seem like that was going to be in the cards for my wife and I, medically speaking. I did, however, have an idea several years ago for a daily blog from the perspective of a man (well, me) who was about to be a father for the first time. I have no idea the specifics of what I’ll talk about, but I’m sure there will be topics as varied as my first visit to Babies ‘R’ Us to the joys of Lamaze classes to negotiating the Seattle winter weather with a wife in her third trimester.
And cravings.
I just now found your website when I was testing my search engine ranknings out of sheer curiosity and realized that you’ve been doing what I’m beginning to do now myself as a soon-to-be father.
I am a Christian and have the desire to share my experiences with family, friends, and anyone else who wants to see that it’s not just the Mothers who go through changes, but that Fathers also have a huge part to play in this adventure of parent-hood. My site is very new and raw with more work to be done visually and functionally, but if you have a chance to check it out, I’d like any comments or suggestions.
My hope is to expand this to the point where I have a few other fathers who occasionally share their thoughts and feelings from time to time as well and be able to join in.
Have a wonderful day and God Bless,
Matthew Frank
